Julie Countryman is an Awarding Winning, Certified Professional Photographer and Graphic Designer based in Surprise, AZ.

Goonie was the inspiration behind our name, Greybird.
She flew over the rainbow bridge at 25 in early 2026.

Julie’s work as a Certified Professional Photographer has been featured twice in Professional Photographers’ Magazine. She is a member of the Professional Photographers of America.

She has been an active leader in the photography community, serving as President of both the Arizona Professional Photographers Association and the Oregon Professional Photographers Association. In addition, she has held roles as Vice President, Marketing & Communications Director, and Chairman of the Board.

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Julie now lives in Surprise, Arizona with her family.
